He isn't very aggressive, but nor is he the mellow sort -- he's the type of boy who's quietly determined, off doing his own thing until he gets results. Best friends with Alanis and Elliot, Melville was the leader and Swordsman of Rage of the St. Loa Flame Knights until they disbanded when the war finished. Though he aspires to be a knight, Melville tends to find himself taking care of his sometimes-troublesome but good-meaning father, Billy. From giving his father certain allowances in potch and dragging him home when he's drunk, Melville has almost been gambled away numerous times, and he has dealt with the horrors of attempted arranged dates. It is when Billy gambles away their house in Vinay that the father-son pair arrive back at Budehuc, searching for treasure and, mostly, a place to call home again. Melville takes odd jobs here and there around Budehuc, and he has been known to run numerous errands at a time to make ends meet for him and his father. While he disapproves of gambling, he is willing to allow exceptions for his beloved father. At this stage, he is still unaware that Kathy is his half-sister, and has been put in the unfortunate position of having kissed her once already. Tenken Star (Dagger) The Tenken Star commonly forms part of a trio with the Tenzai Star and the Tenpai Star. This bond can be based on friendships, occupations or politics. The Tenken Star usually plays the role of leader in this small constellation of stars or, at very least, burns brightest. |
